FABRIC, CARE & SIZING
What fabrics are used?
These luxuriously soft fabric blends provide the buttery soft texture and inherent elasticity these unique designs require in order to form to baby for a snug fit. Our fabrics are always designed with love with no added chemicals to provide the softness baby's sensitive skin deserves.
Silky Modal - (Modal-Elastane) This silky soft fabric is dreamy and sustainably made from harvested beach trees. Modal can withstand countless washes without pilling, shrinking or fading and is more eco-friendly than bamboo. Modal is highly breathable and moisture-wicking ensuring optimal airflow to regulate baby’s body temperature.
Classic Brushed - (Poly-Elastane) This Mama Coco original fabric is durable, moisture-wicking, easy care and stretches to form. The brushed texture makes it smooth, buttery soft and snuggly.
Brushed Viscose - (Poly-Rayon-Elastane) This fabric blend is naturally cool, breathable, moisture-wicking and stretches to form. The brushed texture makes it smooth, buttery soft and snuggly.
Plush Dreams - (Poly-Rayon-Elastane) This is the same blend as Brushed Viscose, but with a finishing plush texture. These plush styles have a slightly raised and evenly fluffed texture providing extra soft coziness.
Is the fabric chemically treated with flame retardant chemicals or adhesive chemicals?
No, the fabric and fibers used to make Mama Coco baby wear are not treated in any chemicals. Please ensure garments fit snug on baby and wash before use per label care and warning instructions.
What size should I purchase?
For best fit, please reference the sizing recommendation chart found in the collapsible tabs below the product description for the optimal size based on your child's weight and/or length.

SWADDLING
What are the benefits of swaddling?
Swaddling helps babies sleep better by mimicking the confined environment inside the womb and reducing the moro "startle" reflex. If you'd like to learn more please visit our blog post to learn about swaddling benefits and safety tips!
How do I use the Cocoon swaddle?
We're happy to guide you! Please visit the Cocoon Swaddle product page to reference the step-by-step instructionals and how-to videos available in the gallery. A hard copy of this instructional will also be provided with purchase for your reference.
When should I stop swaddling my baby?
Pediatricians recommend to stop swaddling when baby shows signs of rolling over or when they lose signs of the moro reflex, whichever comes first. This is typically between 4-6 months but will vary per child. To learn more please visit our blog post to learn about swaddling benefits and safety tips!
What size Cocoon Swaddle should I purchase?
For optimal fit, please refer to the sizing guidelines on the product detail page below the description. Sizing by *length* is recommended to ensure the swaddle securely covers shoulders and has enough wiggle room for baby to stretch their legs. Intended for babies who enjoy fetal position.
Can I purchase a larger size to use for my baby as they grow into it?
The Cocoon Swaddle is intended to be snug fit to keep baby securely comforted and prevent the moro reflex. It is very important that there not be any loose fabric that could be near baby's mouth or nose. Please refer to the sizing guidelines for optimal fit.
How should I dress my baby under the Cocoon Swaddle?
The Cocoon swaddle is made with light-weighted material suitable to wear with just a diaper or even with the Winged Bodysuit depending on room temperature.
Always check your baby for signs of overheating including higher body temperature, redder skin color, and faster heartbeat. If your baby is overheated, remove layers of clothing or turn down the thermostat. Some signs of being too cold include lips, fingers or arms turning bluish-purple. If your baby is too cold, add layers of clothing or turn up the thermostat.
ORDER STATUS
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Once an order has entered fulfillment, we’re unable to make changes or cancellations. Our team works quickly to get orders packed and on their way so you can focus on what matters most—cherishing those precious moments with your little one.
If your order has not yet entered fulfillment, you may be able to make changes by logging into your Account. If you see an “Edit” option, updates can still be made. If the option is no longer visible, your order is already being prepared for shipment.

If our chat agent isn’t able to fully resolve your question, your request will be seamlessly transitioned to our email support queue and responded to as soon as possible.

Make sure to monitor the carrier tracking provided so your delivery can be signed for. If a delivery is missed, please refer to the notice left by the carrier and work directly with the carrier to reschedule the delivery or hold for pickup.

All pre-order item(s) will be fulfilled as soon as they become available and you will be notified when your order is preparing for shipment. Please note, if there are additional items in your order then these will ship together with the pre-order item(s).

Does my international order total include taxes, duties, VAT and misc international import and/or carrier fees?
Yes, import taxes/duties/VAT are now automatically included and visible during checkout as well as upon order confirmation to ensure a seamless shopping and shipping experience.
RETURNS
What is your return policy?
Returns can be initiated HERE.
We recommend trying on all items before washing to ensure proper fit. Washed items cannot be returned.
Return Eligibility
Items are eligible for return if they are:
- Unworn and unwashed
- In original, saleable condition
- With all original hang tags and packaging intact
- Free of stains, odors, pet hair, and damage
Bundle items must be returned together as a complete set.
Free gifts or promotional items are not eligible for return.
If an item does not meet these requirements, the return will not be approved and the customer will be responsible for any rerouted return shipping.
Return Timeframes
- Returns must be requested and postmarked within 14 calendar days of delivery to receive a refund.
- Returns submitted after 14 days are eligible for store credit only.
How do I ship my return?
Mama Coco will provide a trackable return shipping label and instructions for your return once processed.
- Orders with Checkout+ Package Protection receive a complimentary return shipping label once return eligibility is confirmed.
- Orders without package protection are responsible for return shipping costs.
Shipping rates are calculated dynamically based on return weight and destination and will be shown at checkout of the return request. Mama Coco is not responsible for untraceable or lost return shipments.
When will I receive my refund or store credit?
Please allow 2 weeks for your return to be processed once it is delivered to our facility.
Once approved:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method or
- As store credit to your Mama Coco account
Store credit automatically applies to future purchases and does not expire or need to be used all at once.
You will receive an email confirmation with full return details once processing is complete.
Do I need a receipt to return?
Record of sale is required for items to be return-eligible. You will be prompted to enter order details upon submitting your return. For gift orders, please see below.
How do I return a gift?
Gift returns are easy. Please initiate the return HERE.
Select “Returning a gift?” and follow the instructions provided.
Gift returns are issued as store credit only and will be applied to your Mama Coco account. The original purchaser will not be notified.
Gifted items must meet the same return requirements as standard returns. Washed items cannot be returned. Items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- In original, saleable condition
- With all original hang tags and packaging intact
- Free of stains, odors, pet hair, and damage
Bundle items must be returned together as a complete set.
Free gifts or promotional items are not eligible for return.
RETURN SHIPPING
A prepaid return shipping label will be provided. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the recipient and varies based on weight and destination. The dynamic rate will be shown and charged when submitting the return request.
Mama Coco is not responsible for untraceable or lost return shipments.
STORE CREDIT
Please allow 2 weeks for your return to be processed after it is delivered. Once approved, store credit will be applied to your Mama Coco account and can be used at any time — it does not expire and does not need to be used all at once.
You’ll receive an email notification once your return is complete.
EXCHANGES

Instant Exchange
Instant Exchange allows you to receive your replacement item sooner with immediate fulfillment. A temporary authorization hold will be placed on your payment method and released once your return is received and approved.
If the return item is not returned within the required timeframe using the provided return label, or if it does not meet eligibility requirements, the temporary authorization hold will convert to a charge for the remaining value of the item.
What is instant exchange?
Instant Exchange allows you to receive your replacement item sooner with immediate fulfillment. A temporary authorization hold will be placed on your payment method and released once your return is received and approved.
If the returned item does not meet return eligibility requirements, the payment method will be charged for the remaining value of the item.
PLACING AN ORDER
Can I send a gift message?
Absolutely! You can leave a gift message by selecting "Add a gift note!" in your cart. This is visible just above the checkout button. This message will be included in the package along with a gift receipt where prices are removed.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Unfortunately not at this time. Hopefully in the near future! Stay tuned.
How do I use a coupon code?
Coupon codes must be rendered at checkout. Each coupon code can be used once per customer and cannot be combined with other offers. If a coupon code is not being applied, it means the terms of the offer are not being met. If a coupon code shows that it is expired, it means the deadline to use this code has passed or you have used it on a past order and our system cannot apply it again.
What is Checkout+ Package Protection?
Checkout with confidence, knowing your purchases are protected every step of the way with:

- Package protection: Rest assured, if your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, we've got you covered.

Do I need Checkout+?
Mama Coco is proud to now offer return and package protection at checkout. The complimentary returns and exchanges included in Checkout+ provides customers with an additional layer of confidence when shopping. The package protection included provides assurance that your order will be protected and promptly replaced in light of unexpected delivery issues.
Without Checkout+, per store policy, Mama Coco is not responsible for package deliveries affected by an invalid or old address, natural occurrences, air and ground transportation delays, or stolen packages.
Checkout+ protection must be purchased at checkout and included in your order. This cannot be purchased after an order is already placed or fulfilled. If Checkout+ is not included, the customer will be responsible for any return/exchange or replacement costs.
Checkout+ protection is non-refundable.
How do I order if no sizes are available?
If there are no sizes available, the product is out of stock. However, we do restock items frequently, so be sure to check back soon or subscribe to newsletter for exclusive updates!
DISCOUNTS
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! New subscribers receive a 10% discount code to use on their first order as a thank you for subscribing.
Automatic discounts are included in all pre-set bundles and bundle tiers. In addition, a 10% discount is automatically applied to all orders of $150 or more.
Free Shipping is automatically applied to all domestic orders over $49 and a $10 Shipping credit is currently offered for International Orders of $150+.
Important notes:
- Discount codes and offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated in the offer.
- If any of the above mentioned offers are not promoted on the site or are not automatically included at checkout then they may be temporarily disabled or discontinued and cannot be applied.
- Any flash sale promotional offers will only be available in real-time for the specified dates the offer is valid. No adjustments will be applied to orders placed before or after the given offer dates. No exceptions.
